About the role:
As our Application Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge image quality solutions for top-tier medical imaging companies worldwide. Your role will involve optimizing algorithms to enhance the performance of our products, underscoring the importance of your technical background and understanding of intricate algorithms. Your keen understanding of customer needs and adeptness at tailoring customized solutions using our products will consistently surpass expectations. Your expertise and insight into medical image quality will play a pivotal role in guiding the development, as well as validating the value, of our internal product development.

As our Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge image quality solutions for top-tier medical imaging companies worldwide. Beyond optimizing algorithms to enhance product performance, your technical background and proficiency in understanding intricate algorithms are crucial. You'll excel in tailoring customized solutions using our products, ensuring that customer needs are not only understood but effectively communicated around. Your ability to engage with customers regarding the importance of image quality will be instrumental in consistently surpassing expectations. Moreover, your expertise and insight into medical image quality will guide internal product development efforts, validating their value and ensuring continued innovation.

Key Requirements:
MSc in biomedical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in B2B service is meritorious.
• Demonstrate expertise in medical image quality, particularly in ultrasound and/or X-ray.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to cultivate relationships across diverse cultural and organizational landscapes.
• Display strategic acumen, identifying focal points for service enhancement.
• Demonstrate initiative and innovation, contributing ideas for product and process improvements.
• Think creatively and problem-solve outside the conventional parameters.
• Display organizational prowess, prioritizing tasks and driving initiatives forward.
• Possess excellent communication skills to facilitate seamless information exchange between customers and development teams.
• Experience in project management is advantageous.
Travel:  
Linköping or Stockholm, Sweden. Regular office attendance (at least 3 days per week) is required to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among colleagues.

About you:
The ideal candidate possesses a creative and proactive approach, combined with a passion for generating ideas and executing them effectively. You can bring valuable knowledge, enhancing ContextVision’s ability to stay abreast of the latest developments through diligent monitoring of research and industry trends from a technical perspective. With experience in programming and leadership, you can conceptualize innovative solutions and lead teams in their implementation. A strong technical ability and project management skillsets to define solution requirements and testing protocols, coordinate product development projects, as well as launch new products from the laboratory setting into clinical practice. Moreover, you excel at collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders, ensuring a clear transmission of complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
We believe you have:
•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
•  Proven experience in image processing, AI, and medical imaging technologies, with a focus on ultrasound.
•  Programming skills within Python, Julia or similar high-level language.
•  Familiarity with medical device regulations and compliance (FDA, CE, etc.) is a plus.
•  Experience in working with agile methodologies.
•  Very good verbal and written communication skills, in English.
