ContextVision to Showcase Leading Medical Image Enhancement Expertise at CMEF Spring 2017

STOCKHOLM – May 15, 2017 – ContextVision will demonstrate its leading medical imaging enhancement software solutions at this year’s China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), taking place May 15–18 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

“ContextVision is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality imaging for all kinds of equipment,” commented Fredrik Palm, Vice President, ContextVision. “Image quality continues to be of utmost importance for our customers, and ContextVision is continuing to innovate in order to enhance the clinical value of medical imaging even further. We will be showing many of these innovations in Shanghai this month.”

Recently, US PLUSView™ 2.0, the world’s leading 2D image enhancement technology, has been extended for implementation on the iOS platform, addressing the growing market for patient care and making ultrasound examinations accessible and affordable to more users outside traditional clinics.

As ultrasound devices shrink and make ultrasound technologies available for more users outside of radiology, image quality becomes increasingly critical. With image enhancement provided by ContextVision, system manufacturers can provide users the best image available, enabling them to perform more accurate and faster diagnosis.

Other significant upgrades the company has made across its product range and will showcase the following:

  • REALiCE®, the versatile visualization software incorporating GOPiCE 2.0, is a true-to-data rendering technology that provides unique views of anatomies, including photo-like images, and supports early fetal diagnosis. With clearer imaging, standard fetus measurements become more accurate. REALiCE provides: Photographic View, Skeletal View, Surface Rendering View and Depth Color Coding View. The recently patented SkeletalView enables clinicians to obtain a more accurate view of the fetal skeleton during pregnancy. This feature helps the clinicians examine the fetus for spontaneous fractures and skeletal malformations. It also facilitates the measurement of bone structures.
  • GOPiCE® 2.0, the second generation of ContextVision’s unique 3D/4D image enhancement software, provides OEMs with the best ultrasound image quality available and is the only product on the market for real-time volumetric image processing for ultrasound. Upgrades include: the ability to optimize for different visualization techniques—both MPR and rendered view; intelligent near- and far-field processing that guarantees excellent image quality throughout the whole volume.
  • GOPView XR2Plus is the image enhancement technology that sets ContextVision as the gold standard of image enhancement for X-ray, with sophisticated adaptive technology for noise suppression, edge/contrast enhancement, and effective dynamic latitude compression. Add-ons include: Exposure Index which automatically monitors the digital X-ray system to deliver accurate exposure measurements to patients and tuning tools. The GOPView XR2 Plus Tuning Family allows manufacturers to maintain and improve control of the image processing parameters for optimal customer satisfaction.
