ContextVision Exhibits Cutting-Edge 3D Ultrasound Portfolio at AIUM 2015

Demonstrating versatile product range for 3D ultrasound, ContextVision offers improved image quality to healthcare industry

Stockholm, Sweden March 19, 2015 – At the 2015 American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) Annual Convention from March 21-25 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, ContextVision will exhibit its complete, versatile 3D ultrasound portfolio, offering real-time 2D/3D image enhancement and visualization. This unique product range, which includes GOPiCE® 2.0, REALiCE® and US PLUSView™, provides the highest image quality possible for both high-end and point-of-care units.

GOPiCE 2.0 is the only product on the market for real-time volumetric image processing for 3D ultrasound. This product includes several new features, enabling optimization for different visualization techniques, both MPR view and rendered view. The intelligent processing within near- and far-field guarantees excellent image quality throughout the whole volume.

REALiCE, ContextVision’s versatile visualization software, provides ultrasound manufacturers with superb high-end visualization capabilities and exceptional image results. By combining GOPiCE adaptive 3D/4D volume enhancement with new true-to-data rendering technology, REALiCE delivers photo-like images and supports early fetal diagnosis.

“REALiCE provides superior visualization of subtle fetal brain defects and other fetal anomalies. Standard fetus measurements, such as fetal abdominal diameter, abdominal circumference and femur length, become more accurate as a result of clearer imaging,” said Ph.D. Anders Selbing, professor emeritus at Karolinska University Hospital.

ContextVision will also demonstrate the Skeletal View – a new feature within REALiCE that provides excellent visualization of the fetal skeleton and helps review details related to bone mineralization and physical defects.

“With our latest 3D features, we are adding further potential to our customers’ systems in a very competitive environment,” said Fredrik Palm, Vice President – OEM Business, ContextVision. “We deliver the highest image quality within ultrasound to meet the growing demand from healthcare providers.”

ContextVision’s robust 3D ultrasound portfolio offers clinicians the ability to make faster and more accurate diagnosis with a higher degree of confidence and, thus, meet the demands of tomorrow’s healthcare.
