ContextVision to Demonstrate GOPView Mammo3, GOPiCE 2.0 and REALiCE for First Time in China at CMEF

The ContextVision team will be on hand at the 73rd China International Medical Equipment Fair to introduce three newest image enhancement and visualization offerings to China

Stockholm, Sweden – May 11, 2015 – Attendees at the 73rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) will get their first look at ContextVision’s GOPView® Mammo3, GOPiCE® 2.0 and REALiCE® offerings on May 15. The CMEF event, which runs through May 18 at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center, will offer an opportunity for many in the Chinese market to see three of the company’s newest image enhancement and visualization offerings for the first time.

ContextVision will exhibit its premier digital mammography offering, GOPView Mammo3, alongside a versatile 3D ultrasound portfolio that includes GOPiCE 2.0 and REALiCE, offering real-time 2D/3D image enhancement and visualization.

GOPView Mammo3 is a complete image processing software offering for screening and diagnostic examinations in digital mammography. It provides superior visibility of subtle lesions and microcalcifications independent of breast density, necessary for accurate diagnoses. GOPView Mammo3 provides intelligent noise suppression, balanced with enhancement of fine structures such as microcalcifications.

GOPiCE 2.0, the second generation of ContextVision’s unique 3D/4D image enhancement software provides the OEM with the best ultrasound image quality available today. By utilizing information from adjacent planes in the 3D stack, the GOPiCE 2.0 software processes and delivers a clearer image than ever seen before. It is the only product on the market for real-time volumetric image processing for 3D ultrasound. Its several new features enable optimization for different visualization techniques, both MPR view and rendered view. The intelligent processing within near- and far-field guarantees excellent image quality throughout the whole volume.

REALiCE, ContextVision’s versatile visualization software, provides ultrasound manufacturers with superb high-end visualization capabilities and exceptional image results. By combining GOPiCE adaptive 3D/4D volume enhancement with new true-to-data rendering technology, REALiCE is able to deliver photo-like images and supports early fetal diagnosis.

“With our latest 3D features, we are offering our customers significant enhancements to their imaging systems in a very competitive environment,” said Fredrik Palm, Vice President – OEM Business, ContextVision. “For example the new feature Skeletal View that provides excellent visualization of the fetal skeleton and helps review details related to bone mineralization and physical defects.”

ContextVision’s robust 3D ultrasound portfolio offers clinicians the ability to make faster and more accurate diagnoses with a higher degree of confidence and, thus, meet the demands of tomorrow’s healthcare.
