If you have several years of experience in international sales and launches in Life Sciences, you may be the one we are looking for. Digital pathology is a new, developing business area within ContextVision. The company now needs a customer-oriented Sales Manager who will build the sales function in the Nordic region, Benelux and distribution networks in Europe.

Assignment

You will be strongly involved in the continued development of Digital Pathology. The service requires you to stay continuously updated with the market knowledge, closely follow competitor activities and understanding the pathologist´s challenges to keep up to date with the current situation. With the help of sales representatives in Nordic and Benelux and distribution networks in Europe, you will prepare effective and successful launches. You will also evaluate and identify other sales opportunities, in the short and long term.

Main tasks summarized:
• Create a sales organisation within the new digital pathology business area. Hiring sales representatives for the Nordic countries and Benelux, setting up distributor networks in Europe.
• Suggest and test different distribution strategies and channel selections.
• Identify and act on short and long-term sales opportunities.
• Responsible for the development of sales according to plan / budget.
• Develop, present and implement short and long-term sales plans.
• Implement CRM systems / structures to keep track of partners, distributors, business opportunities, and customers.
• Establish contact, build and maintain relationships with soft and hardware suppliers in digital pathology (e.g. scanner and PACS / LIS manufacturer).
• Suggest and evaluate different pricing strategies depending on reimbursement systems and purchasing patterns, establish price levels
• Competitive intelligence - Keep up to date on developments in digital pathology.
• Continuously developing the understanding of the digital pathology market.
The position is based in Stockholm and reports to Business Area Manager, Digital Pathology. International traveling is required to an extent of approximately 30–50 days/year. 

Experience / knowledge

• Academic degree
• At least 5 years of successful experience in international sales of brand new Life science products (preferably in pathology, digital pathology, or medical imaging)
• P & L responsibility
• Personnel responsibility
• Very good presentation and negotiation skills
• Very good ability to express themselves in speech and writing (Swedish and English)
• Big negotiation habits, designing and following up of contracts with distributor / partner
