ContextVision Showcases 3D Ultrasound Portfolio and Versatile Visualization Software at ECR 2015

At this week’s conference, ContextVision will showcase its unique 3D ultrasound portfolio for the first time in Europe

Stockholm, Sweden – March 3, 2015 At the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) fromMarch 5-8 in Vienna, ContextVision will exhibit its unique 3D ultrasound portfolio for the first time in Europe. These products include ContextVision’s second generation of ultrasound 3D processing, GOPiCE® 2.0, and REALiCE®, its versatile visualization software that delivers photo-like images and supports early fetal diagnosis.

Second generation GOPiCE 2.0 is the only product on the market for real-time volumetric image processing for 3D ultrasound images. This product includes several new features, enabling optimization for different visualization techniques, both MPR view and rendered view. The intelligent processing within near- and far-field guarantees excellent image quality throughout the whole volume.

By combining the GOPiCE adaptive 3D/4D volume enhancement with new true-to-data rendering technology, REALiCE provides ultrasound manufacturers with superb high-end visualization capabilities and image quality. Additionally, ContextVision will, for the first time, show a completely new feature, the Skeletal View. This feature provides excellent visualization of the fetal skeleton and helps review details related to bone mineralization and physical defects.

In addition to its ultrasound products, ContextVision will also demonstrate its broad multimodality product portfolio within image enhancement and its latest achievement in mammography image enhancement, GOPView® Mammo3. This complete image processing software for screening as well as for diagnostic digital mammography is adaptable for the entire range of mammography systems. GOPView Mammo3 provides optimized images for different breast densities, as well as customized for regional and individual preferences.

“Image quality is important for clinicians to make more accurate and faster diagnosis with confidence,” said Fredrik Palm, Vice President – OEM Business, ContextVision. “At ECR, we will demonstrate state-of-the-art medical images and meet with OEMs to discuss how we can help them meet the demands of tomorrow’s healthcare by providing the best equipment with advanced image quality.”

This year, ECR will feature a Eurosafe Imaging poster exhibition with more than 40 posters from renowned radiation protection experts, European institutions, international organizations and industry partners. ContextVision’s poster, “Minimizing Radiation Exposure for Safer Imaging,” will be on display beginning Friday, March 6.
